Acer’s Chromebook 15 is now done of aluminum and a lot some-more …

Acer’s biggest Chromebook is removing a large refresh. Its palm rest and lid are now done out of aluminum, instead of plastic, and a laptop is now ostensible to get 12 hours of battery life, adult from 9 final year. But for those improvements, you’re going to be profitable a lot more: a starting cost is $399, since a final era started during $299 and can now be found for good next that.
It looks like Acer is going to be opening adult a lot some-more pattern options this time around, too. The Chromebook 15 will have options for dual-core Celeron or quad-core Pentium processors, 32GB or 64GB of storage, and 4GB or 8GB of RAM.
As before, a laptop has a 15.6-inch 1080p display. But this year’s indication is slimmer and lighter: it’s now down to 0.74 inches thick and 3.79 bruise in weight, instead of 0.95 inches and 4.85 pounds, so there’s a large alleviation on that front.
On specs alone though, we don’t know that Acer is doing adequate here to clear a large cost bump. Chromebooks are ostensible to be good values — and right now, we can buy most nicer Chromebooks for around $400 and homogeneous Chromebooks for most cheaper. Though not indispensably with such a large screen.
