Android 8.1 might let we send and accept content messages on Chromebooks

We’ve listened rumors about receiving and promulgation content messages on a Chromebook before, though that duty has now been detected in a developer preview for Android 8.1, as spotted by ArsTechnica and 9to5Google.
Called SMS Connect, a underline allows users to send and accept content messages from their phone regulating a device’s conduit series on a Chromebook. The underline was detected in an APK called “SMSConnectPrebuilt,” that is launched by an activity browser where a setup shade for SMS Connect opens.
